A Safe Place To Start

We Have tried to design a safe place for men and women to find healing.  By Safe we mean only that we will help without condemning, listen without judging, and reasonably try to keep group information within the group.

 Hi, I am pastor Bob, and I too have struggled with sexual addiction in my life.  I was trapped by the teachings of the world until my lust for pornography became uncontrollable.  It does not have to be that way. Help is available!

This is a place where people who are struggling with sexual addiction can come for help!
 
You do not have to be a sex offender, to be an addict or sinner, in need of help.
  1. We are here to help before its too late.
  2. We are here after its too late to help you move on
  3. No sin is beyond repentance, the love of God, and the love of those who follow him
  4. We have been where you are
  5. There is hope!

Principle of the Month

  • This Month we will focus on principle 4
  • We seek accountability and to build our character as children of God.



    • God created humans in such a way that they need others.  It is not good for a man to be alone he said.  We are all parts of one body he said.  so it goes in recovery. We NEED others to help us.  A strand of three cords is not easily broken. Two are better than one because if one falls the other might pick him up.  Even in worship and prayer Their is power in numbers.  Part of being in fellowship with others is being accountable to them.  Loving them as you love your self.  In L.I.F.E. we seek to make our selves accountable in a number of ways.

    1. First we obtain accountability partners.  People we have come to trust, that we can go to when we have struggles.  We make calls to these persons on a regular basis so we are already comfortable with them When we need help making the call easier.
    2. We obtain sponsors.  a sponsor goes beyond the accountability partner in that we are giving these persons authority in ours lives.  These are people we really have come to trust.  We share our vulnerabilities with these people.
    3. We become involved with our churches. We become accountable to our brothers and sisters for our actions.  We remember the old testament story of Joshua attacking a smmal enemy and losing because one sinner lost favor of God for all the aNation af Isreal.  We understand that our actions have consequences for others as well.
    4. We also understand that we are accountable to others in their accountability.  AS they help us we help them as well.
    5. WE are accountable to God. WE are to seek him with all our hearts, minds and souls.  Growing in Christlikeness.  Reading our Bibles, study, and time with other Christians become a growing part of our lives.
